What do Daybreak’s builder incentives and ready-now homes have in common? You have to get them both before they are gone. Save on ready-now homes. >

What's Happening

Parkwood Homes is no stranger to Traditional Neighborhood Design (TND) like what is found all throughout Daybreak. Their roots go back to one of the original TND Communities called the Kentlands located in Gaithersburg, Maryland near Washington D.C. They have also built many homes in Denver’s Stapleton neighborhood. It was through their work at Stapleton that Daybreak became familiar with their unique offering and began a dialogue several years ago with the company’s owners about bringing their homes here. What they bring is a design sensibility influenced by the historical architecture of the East Coast as well as a semi-custom home building program that has been largely missing from Daybreak. Unlike many production home builders, Parkwood offers homebuyers many opportunities to move walls and customize floor plans and offers access to a wider array of finish options to make every home truly unique.

“Lots of builders cringe when they see a buyer come to a design meeting with their Pinterest board full of inspiration, but we welcome it” says Logan Wilcox, Parkwood’s Vice President and the son of the Founder. “We fill a different niche in the marketplace where we work with our homebuyers to make each home an authentic one of a kind. While we generally don’t allow changes to the exterior because we want to stay true to the best traditional American architecture, we’re known for working with homeowners to create the home sanctuary inside that they’ve always dreamed of. Every one of our homes is really custom-tailored to fit the way each family lives.”

Parkwood’s initial offering in Daybreak will begin with 9 choice lots on the Southwest corner of Oquirrh Lake—the last such lots available adjacent to the lake. You can view the first of several available floorplans HERE. Then, later this year they will release an all new collection of Cottage Homes on the Southern half of the island. Their new model home near Kestrel Rise Rd. and Lake Ave. at 10867 South Lake Avenue is now open by appointment only.
