Here in Daybreak, your townhome comes with cafés, boutiques, salons, parks, outdoor concerts and light rail stations — in other words, actual towniness — just steps or an easy bike ride away. Daybreak’s different villages even let you choose whether to be closer to the water or closer to light rail. And with all kinds of new townhomes and condos for sale in South Jordan starting in the high $300s, Daybreak has something for you whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or just wanting to downsize or right-size.
By the way, if you’re a first-time homebuyer, we have some great info on how to buy your first home and how to take advantage of Utah’s first-time homebuyer assistance program.
What you see here is all the villages in Daybreak where new townhomes are available. What you don’t see are the 50+ miles of trails that tie the whole place together.

All these home types are categorized as “attached homes.” That is, they are part of a larger building that includes at least one other home.
A DUPLEX (sometimes called a paired home or paired villa) is a single structure that contains two homes.
A CONDO is an attached home that has all its space on a single level, sort of like an apartment, where you’ll have at least one other home next to you as well as above and/or below you.
A TOWNHOUSE (also referred to as a townhome or rowhome) is a multi-level home in which you own all the floors, top to bottom, but share at least one wall with a nextdoor neighbor. In other words, the main difference between a condo and a townhome is that a condo lives horizontally and a townhome lives vertically.
With their multi-level floorplans, townhomes offer a generous amount of space in an efficient form. They’re tall and elegant (especially the townhomes in Daybreak). And a townhome means you don’t have anyone living above or below you.
Like a townhome, condos are smart and efficient and free you from having to maintain a yard or your home’s exterior. The other big plus is single-level, no-stairs living.
You can think of a duplex as an attached home that’s almost detached. Because there’s only one other home attached to yours, you have more privacy and perhaps a bit more of a yard. And yet you still have some of the cost savings of an attached home. In Daybreak, we call these paired homes or paired villas. Visit our homefinder to see what’s available.
