Sagewood at Daybreak Senior Living Community Invites Public to Explore New Information Center

Information Center gives glimpse of future senior living community

(South Jordan, UT) – November 18, 2014 – Kisco Senior Living welcomes visitors to explore the new Information Center for Sagewood at Daybreak, a full-service senior living community within the award-winning, master-planned development, Daybreak in South Jordan.
Sagewood is perfectly positioned in the center of Utah’s first neighborhood to be planned with the size, scope and desires for all stages of life. Its location and design allow elders to stay close to children and grandchildren that live in the area while enjoying the amenity-rich lifestyle.
The opening of the Information Center launches pre-leasing activities for the community which is scheduled to open in April, 2015.
Sagewood at Daybreak will be lead by Executive Director, Joshua Lancaster. Lancaster is a native Utahan and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Southern Utah University.  He brings nine years of senior living and management experience from organizations within Utah and California, and returns to successfully launch and guide Sagewood at Daybreak. Lancaster will be supported by sales directors Heather Hodges, Stephanie Klingbiel and Jana Maurer. Together, they bring more than 32 years of experience in the senior living and sales industries, and their first-hand knowledge and compassion for elders will assure members they are fulfilling both their residential and emotional goals.
Lancaster says, “I am thrilled to be returning to my home and to be a part of the premier senior living community in Utah. Sagewood and the surrounding Daybreak neighborhood will offer plentiful and convenient social, dining and health amenities, creating the ultimate senior-living experience.”
In addition to the senior management team, Kisco Senior Living will soon begin to recruit an estimated 80 to 90 full-time positions from within the local area.
Once completed, Sagewood will span six acres and offer a full continuum of elder lifestyle options, including 99 independent living homes, and 55 assisted living homes where supportive care is provided for residents who require some extra assistance with daily activities. Additionally, there are two intimate households with 23 private accommodations for residents needing more personal care. One household will be for assisted living and the other will be for specialized assisted living including Alzheimer’s and related cognitive challenges where members will live in a safe, secured area.
The different levels of care will ensure that as members’ needs change, they can remain in the same warm, comfortable home within the community they love, promoting independence and dignity and reducing anxiety.
Inside Sagewood, residents will have many of the amenities they desire right at their fingertips. A combined chef-lead bistro and café, and elegant courtyard dining room complete the perfect culinary experience. The community will also feature a full-service salon offering therapeutic massage, and hair and nail services, as well as a fitness center with indoor pool. The community provides multiple locations that create the ideal setting for catching up with loved ones and friends, or for quietly escaping into a new book.  Beyond the community, Sagewood’s SoDa Row location is in the heart of Daybreak. Just steps away are restaurants, shops, Oquirrh Lake, walking paths, a TRAX light rail station, a new University of Utah Medical Center complex and the new Mountain View Corridor freeway that leads straight to the airport.
While the community’s accommodations set it apart from the rest, it’s Kisco Senior Living’s award-winning The Art of Living Well℠ philosophy that will make Sagewood at Daybreak “home.” This philosophy extends into all of the offered services and programs.
Sagewood at Daybreak is currently accepting fully refundable priority deposits. Salt Lake City-based Rimrock Construction is the general contractor for Sagewood. The project was designed by Beecher Walker Architects of Salt Lake City along with GGLO Architects based in Seattle, Washington.
