What's Happening

Last weekend a few brave souls jumped into the Daybreak Community Center pool for a good cause! The Chilly Dip event offered Daybreak resident’s the opportunity to dress up in funny costumes and jump into water at freezing temps to support the YWCA of Utah. While lots of chilly fun was had by the 50+ participants, more importantly $4,000 was raised to support the YWCA’s mission of advancing the well-being of women in Utah.

Thank you to several Daybreak resident’s who helped LiveDAYBREAK Community Council organize this event:  Nycole ‘Driggs’ RosenLisa Good Radke, Mark Nischalke, Jared Foley. View pictures of the event, here.

LiveDAYBREAK

A key element, for creating the vibrancy and culture that Daybreak is known for, is the creation of a non-profit entity LiveDAYBREAK.  For more than 10 years, LiveDAYBREAK has woven a tapestry of connection, lifelong learning, arts & diversity, healthy living and philanthropy into Daybreak. LiveDAYBREAK, is indeed the heartbeat of the community—providing a variety of opportunities each week for residents to learn, volunteer and connect with one another.

And let’s not forget to mention a whole lot of fun!
