The best part of living in Daybreak? The people who live here! This Holiday season Daybreak residents donated more than $4,200 in clothes, toys, bedding, toiletries and other gifts to those in need at the Christmas Box House. The effort was organized by the LiveDAYBREAK Community Council.
The Christmas Box House provides assistance to prevent child abuse and services to improve the quality of life for children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Founded in Utah in 1996 by New York Times best-selling author Richard Paul Evans, the charity was named after his first novel, The Christmas Box. Last year the charity served 8,062 children and teens who were victims of abuse, neglect and abandonment according to their Website.
Thank you to LiveDAYBREAK and all Daybreak residents who participated in Project Elf this year.
