When the good people at Pantone selected 2017’s “Color of the Year” they went big and bold – and offered the world a crisp new opportunity to revitalize and refresh. Their official selection for 2017 – Greenery – “bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the hope we collectively yearn for amid a complex social and political landscape,” explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of Pantone color consulting. “Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.” It’s a big, bold, eye-catching neutral, and it’s a welcome addition to both interior styling and fashion runways the world over.
