Residents of Sagewood, an independent and assisted living center located within the Daybreak community, have been in self-quarantine for several weeks as COVID-19 continues to impact the state. While residents can’t go anywhere, the facility has arranged a variety of outreach opportunities for the community to come together and show their love and support for the residents who are inside. Activities have included letter writing, drawing pictures, decorating the sidewalks with chalk, over-sized outdoor birthday signs and even outdoor concerts in the courtyard.
Award-winning artist Alex Boye surprised residents of Sagewood at Daybreak with an outdoor concert. Residents maintained their social distance by listening from their patios while others sat in the courtyard. Watch the performance, here.
