What's Happening

Get ready, because the Parade is coming to town. Or maybe we should say, the town is coming to the Parade.

Yes, Daybreak will feature nine of the most distinctive homes on the Parade (details below). But in Daybreak, the Parade of Homes will be a lot more than just homes. As it turns out, this year’s Parade coincides with some of our best-loved community events. Here’s what’s on the event calendar:

  • Saturday 8/3: 9am-1pm: Daybreak Farmers Market
  • Saturday 8/3, 8pm: Outdoor Concert
  • Thursday evening 8/8: Food trucks at North Shore
  • Saturday 8/10: 9am-1pm: Daybreak Farmers Market
  • Saturday 8/10, 5-10pm: Fizz Fest Street Fair
  • Thursday evening 8/15: Food trucks at North Shore

So depending on when you visit, you’ll be able to experience not only the homes but the actual town life of Daybreak.

And there’s more. A lot more. The Parade is also a great opportunity to discover some of Daybreak’s exciting new features, both those that are complete and those coming soon. On The Island, you’ll find a new covered pavilion, private paddling beach and a huge boardwalk with nets that let you lie back in the water. Or drop by Heights Park and check out the whimsical new Firefly Park, with its elevated party deck.

Then in Highland Park Village, you can explore the plan for one of our most ambitious features ever: the Watercourse. It’s a series of interconnected waterways that will stretch a mile and a half through Daybreak’s Upper Villages. Just imagine, the whole community of Daybreak book-ended by Oquirrh Lake on one side and the Watercourse on the other.

But wait, we’re forgetting something. Oh! The homes! Daybreak is featuring nine Parade homes this year. That’s more homes — and a more amazing variety of homes — than ever before …

1 luxury island home
A very special home from Rainey Homes in a one-of-a-kind place: an island in the middle of Oquirrh Lake.

2 active adult homes
Our original 55+ village, Garden Park, is nearing completion. And it’s finishing strong with homes (including an exciting Parade home by Ivory Homes) that are stone-skipping distance from the lake.

Then there’s the Parade entry in our newest 55+ neighborhood, Springhouse Village. Built by Oakwood Homes — it’s open. Airy. Spacious. And close to pickleball courts and, eventually, the Springhouse clubhouse and pool.

1 elegant townhome
Just up the hill from Oquirrh Lake, you find the gracefully maturing village of Heights Park. And that’s where you’ll find a distinctly urban-flavored Parade townhome by Sego.

5 spacious family homes
Speaking of Highland Park, we just introduced nine all-new model homes here. And if you missed our model home grand opening, you’ll be happy to know that five of these fantastic, family-friendly homes — by David Weekley Homes, Destination Homes, Fieldstone Homes and Holmes Homes — are now some of Parade’s most intriguing entries.

So there you have it: all the homes, festivals, food and fun of the Parade at Daybreak. A Parade you really don’t want to miss.
