The Daybreak Triathlon will take place Saturday, June 1 in South Jordan, Utah. Offering an urban triathlon for both Sprint and Olympic distances, the event attracts elite local athletes as well as beginners of all ages. Competitors will participate in a point-to-point open water swim course that takes place in Daybreak’s Oquirrh Lake. The bike course begins in Daybreak, then goes out to the Kennecott Copper Mine and back. The running course follows the trail systems that circles Oquirrh Lake.
Now in its eleventh year, this race is organized by longtime Daybreak residents and has sold out every year. Check out the US Tri Sports website for more details, here.
