What's Happening

Though 2017 is fast coming to an end, it’s not too late to have a little fun. Mark your calendars for incredible winter activities sponsored by our community council, LiveDAYBREAK.

Project Elf

Stop by the Daybreak Community Center or the  Daybreak Community Association Office (HOA) starting November 6th and pick out an ornament- or two, or three- from our Project Elf tree. Once you’ve done your shopping for the gifts, return them to the community center, UNWRAPPED, by December 4th.
This charity drive helps gather gifts for the Christmas Box House, where they will be handed out to kids who are in a not-so-great situation during the holidays. These kids are either transitioning into or out of foster care and are looking to celebrate Christmas just like you and me: by opening some really fun gifts on Christmas morning.
Last year Daybreak residents donated more than $6,500 to Project Elf.

Open Mic Night

Come out to The Hub on November 8 and enjoy an evening of South Valley residents showcasing their talents, and enjoy tasty food and drinks from Biscotts.
All types of acts are welcome including music, comedy, poetry, etc.
Time slots for entertainment will be available from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm in 15-minute increments (6:00, 6:15, 6:30, etc.). All content is welcome (must be family appropriate), but acts will be limited to two performers.

Santa’s Mailbox

Make your list and check it twice, Santa’s Mailbox is coming back to Daybreak. All letters placed in the mailbox (next to Cupbop) will be delivered directly to Santa for a personal, hand-written response.
Letters can begin to be mailed on November 9.

Santa’s Arrival

Santa Clause is making his return to Daybreak! Stop by the Daybreak Community Center on December 2nd from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and have the kids’ pictures taken! Please be sure to bring your own camera to snap the pics! Afterwards, stick around for a fun craft and activity!
LiveDAYBREAK, is Daybreak’s community council whose mission is to nurture a vibrant and caring community. They are indeed the heartbeat of the community and provide opportunities for residents to be involved. Most of the activities and events in the community are sponsored by LiveDAYBREAK.
