A crisp spring evening, music playing in the distance, the reflection of the sun setting on Oquirrh Lake and the sweet smell of delectable desserts in the air provided the canvas for the Ladies Home Tour highlighting Daybreak’s premier neighborhood—Lake Village.
More than 300 women (and a few brave husbands) joined Daybreak for it’s first-ever Ladies Home Tour last Saturday evening. Guests participated in guided tours inside this new collection of homes that take maximum advantage of mountain and lake views along Utah’s growing west bench.
The homes featured along the tour all overlook Daybreak’s 67-acre fresh water lake and are built to bring the outdoors inside. Here you will find homes built with an older, more meticulous approach to form and function, combined with a fresh, almost whimsical sense of light and lifestyle. Guests learned firsthand that “living with the doors wide open” isn’t just an analogy for life, it is the way of living at the Lake Village.
Lakeside Living
These homes embody lakeside living. They welcome sunlight and cross breezes into every room. With an ingenious use of glass and space, they blur the barrier between indoors and outdoors. And every detail, from a metal roof above a wrap-around porch to a “kayak garage,” is a reminder that you’re among the privileged few who get to live steps from a big, freshwater lake.
