During the Summer months, residents are able to participate in one of six community gardens that encompasses more than 250 garden plots! At Daybreak residents are growing more than just vegetables, they are spending time with family, neighbors and lots of local ladybugs.

The facilities are a gardener’s dream. Water, benches and shade.  The sustainability of community gardens are a huge part of the neighborhood planning process. Because the gardens are a central feature you get a feel of an enhanced community. Gardens increase the quality of life by providing a way for neighbors to grow roots together, get outside and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, all while working toward a common goal.

There is something very rewarding about eating the fruits of your labor and healthier too!
Come see for yourself the beautiful Daybreak Community Gardens that will begin to be in bloom very soon. If you’re new to the community, stop by the Glass House Information Center and ask for a map.
