There’s no such thing as too many parks. Which is great, because we’re announcing a brand new one coming soon to Cascade Village. Blue Sky Park is a fresh take on a classic, where your imagination — and your family — can run wild. Think swing sets, a playhouse, tables and chairs, a bike rack — all of the things a good old-fashioned park needs.
The best (and biggest) part? A great big flat lawn in the center of it all. This manicured space will be perfect for playing catch, practicing cartwheels, having a picnic or challenging the neighbors to a pick-up game of football. Meanwhile, kids of all ages (yes, even tweens) can have fun on the Earthscape log and boulder play equipment.
Blue Sky Park is located on the northern end of Cascade Village at the intersection of Granbury Drive and Easy Bee Road. The park is anticipated to be finished 2025.
Blue Sky Park is the newest on a very long list of parks — in fact, there were about three dozen at last count. And while we don’t play favorites when it comes to play, there are a few great parks and playgrounds you should check out, like Lookout Park, Pennant Park and Playhouse Park. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Daybreak residents are also walking and running on The Loop trail network, getting their blood pumping at The Spoke bike park and are looking forward to paddling and pedaling along The Watercourse, opening soon.
