Here in Daybreak, we’re obsessed with them. Because being able to walk from home to a park (or two, or three) brings a lot of good things to your everyday. Things like sunshine and flashlight tag. Picnics and pickleball. Green grass, shade trees and fresh air.
Then again, don’t imagine that all Daybreak parks are alike. Far from it. As with all Daybreak amenities, we take pride in making each park unique. Some are more active, others more serene. Some are big community-wide destinations. Others are more of an intimate neighborhood scale. So from Firefly Park to Lake Avenue Park, your next adventure is just around the corner.
More H2O. Daybreak’s original Lower Villages have Oquirrh Lake. And now, the Upper Villages have the Watercourse. Picture a little meandering river or series of canals that let you paddleboard through the neighborhood. Then there’s The Cove, the crown jewel of the Watercourse. A place where all sorts of celebrations can happen. Sounds kinda magical, doesn’t it?
The Loop is the expanding network of bicycle highways, trails, parks and nature that winds its way all through Daybreak’s Upper Villages and connects to the Lower Villages. You could say it’s the ribbon of healthy outdoor fun that ties the community together.
Grab your mountain bike or your BMX bike or even your Strider bike, and get ready to have the time of your swooping, swerving, hard-pedalling life. The Spoke is a series of bike experiences scattered along a half-mile stretch of The Loop. Here you’ll encounter whale tails, berms, gaps, rock gardens, table tops and (prepare yourself) a world-class pump track created by none other than Velosolutions of Switzerland.
