David Weekley Homes for a Halloween Party
Dust off your costume and join David Weekley Homes for a Halloween party on Saturday, October 20th in Heights Park in Daybreak! There will be something for everyone including: face painting, a caracaturist, candy apples*, trick-or-treat bags filled with candy*, pumpkins*, exciting prizes and more!
Ginormous Pumpkin Regatta
It’s not every day that you will see giant pumpkins floating in Daybreak’s Oquirrh Lake. And when we say giant pumpkins, we mean giant! These pumpkins weigh in at hundreds, even thousands of pounds each. On Saturday, October 20th join us as dozens of giant pumpkins set sail on Oquirrh Lake, racing to the finish line. This event attracts a very large crowd, so come early.
On Friday, October 26th spend the evening with your family and friends viewing carved, etched, painted or decorated pumpkins and vote on your favorites! You can even submit a decorated pumpkin if you are feeling brave. As a bonus, model homes in Highland Park will be open for touring during this event.
Trick or Treat Street
Bring your little ghouls and goblins down to SoDa Row to trick or treat on Saturday, October 27th. There will also be crafts, food and activities for all ages. Due to the popularity of this event a wristband is required for participation. Wristbands are free for residents and $5 for non-residents.
Most community events in Daybreak are sponsored by the community council, LiveDAYBREAK. This council is tasked with providing a nurturing and caring community for all who live here. They are indeed the heartbeat of the community and provide a variety of opportunities for service, education and personal growth among our residents.
