What this partnership does
Together, the partners are promoting proven, water‑saving steps across Daybreak. The effort highlights rebates, simplified approvals, and homeowner resources so residents can confidently replace thirsty turf with waterwise landscaping—especially in park strips.
Context: From the beginning, Daybreak’s sustainability and walkability commitments have guided community design and landscape standards.
Rebates available from South Jordan City
South Jordan City offers hundreds of dollars in rebates and water‑saving assistance. Residents can receive incentives for waterwise plants, rock mulch, concrete, and curbing—all designed to help you flip your park strip and reduce the amount of lawn in your yard.
To see current programs and eligibility, visit Water Smart SoJo or the City’s water conservation page.
Waterwise templates & approvals
To make the process even easier, the Daybreak Community Association provides approved waterwise park strip templates. Residents may copy a template or substitute similar plants based on availability.
- Submit your design for approval at mydaybreak.com/community.
- Upload a copy of your approved design review application to qualify for South Jordan City rebates.
- For a limited time referenced in the original release, the Association waived the design application fee through the end of the year for eligible park strip flip applications.
