After several weeks of self‑quarantine, residents at Sagewood at Daybreak received a joyful surprise: an outdoor concert by award‑winning artist Alex Boyé. Neighbors listened from patios and the courtyard, smiling big—and staying safely apart.

What happened
First, the Sagewood team invited the community to uplift residents with small acts of kindness. Next, volunteers got to work—writing letters, drawing sidewalk chalk art, posting oversized birthday signs, and organizing outdoor courtyard concerts. Finally, Alex Boyé dropped by to perform live, turning a quiet afternoon into a sing‑along.
