Daybreak was built for summer. With 30+ miles of trails and parks, a fresh‑water Oquirrh Lake, and the energy of Downtown Daybreak (SoDa Row), there’s truly something for everyone. Below, we’ve listed the season’s can’t‑miss events in the same order as the original 2018 article.
Daybreak Triathlon — June 2, 2018
Swim, bike, run—right here at Daybreak. The tenth annual Daybreak Triathlon brings hundreds of athletes to our lake and streets for a sell‑out race organized by longtime residents. Arrive early, cheer loudly, and plan a lakefront breakfast afterward at Shop & Dine. (Details reflect the 2018 event.)
Daybreak Farmers Market — Saturdays, Jun 2–Sep 29, 2018
Meet your growers and makers. LiveDAYBREAK partnered with Daybreak resident Stephanie Devine to launch a Daybreak Farmers Market on the SoDa Row plaza. Every Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., shop seasonal produce, crafts, and artisan goods—then take a stroll around Oquirrh Lake. (Dates/hours per 2018 schedule.)
Summer Concert Series — June–September
Free live music most Friday and Saturday nights. Bring a blanket, gather friends, and enjoy the SoDa Row soundtrack all summer long. For lineups, check the MyDaybreak calendar and make it dinner‑and‑a‑show with nearby eateries.
Bollywood at Daybreak — July 28, 2018
Color, rhythm, and flavor. Experience Indian culture through dance, music, food, and the arts at SoDa Row, with special performances throughout the evening. Additionally, sample local Indian cuisine, explore art, and consider joining the celebratory color throw.
Fizz Fest — August 10–11, 2018
Two days. One lively plaza. The 11th Annual Fizz Fest turns SoDa Row into a hub of fun with activities for all ages. Therefore, expect busy sidewalks, happy crowds, and plenty of ways to celebrate summer together.
