Hopeful new homeowners are flocking to Daybreak – and finding that thanks to our variety of homes, “living Daybreak” is always a possibility. In fact, over the summer Daybreak welcomed its 5,000th homeowner–the Torres family who purchased a Destination townhome in the Lake Village.
Since the opening of Daybreak 14 years ago, Daybreak has consistently ranked as one of the top selling new home communities in Utah and across the Nation. The mixture of businesses, parks, shops, restaurants, schools, architecture and beautiful energy-efficient homes sets Daybreak apart. This distinction of a smarter, healthier way of thinking about community has helped foster a vibrant community of almost 20,000 residents.
Recently we spent the afternoon with Juan and Kinsey Torres finding out why they decided to officially call Daybreak home.
During the home shopping experience, Juan and Kinsey quickly realized that all homebuilders and communities are not created equal.
“We looked at other builders in the area—but loved the floorplan, finishes, and location of this home,” shared Kinsey. “Especially the smart home [features] that we have always wanted to have.”
Another reason why the Torres family decided to purchase in Daybreak involved the fact that a townhome in Daybreak actually comes with a town. Juan and Kinsey love having a full slate of amenities available to them including various pools, a big lake for paddling and relaxing on summer days, not to mention miles of trails outside their door. And the shops and eateries of SoDa Row bring the vibrancy of downtown living within a short walk or bike ride of their front door every day.
“It’s awesome to [live in a community] where you don’t have to go far to have something fun to do, and this place has it all,” the Torres family shared.
Living right by the lake in their Destination townhome is icing on the cake for Juan and Kinsey. “We are steps away from the trails and being able to paddle board or kayak. It’s so beautiful, and relaxing sitting out on our balcony listening to all the birds and nature—it is amazing!”
Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat near the lake, miles of trails, quick access to community gardening, or a short walk to TRAX and the local sports bar—we’ve got just what you need. We’ve got a host of new Daybreak townhome options available, all within a variety of price ranges and sizes.
Next time you see Juan and Kinsey walking around Oquirrh Lake, make sure to welcome them to the neighborhood.
