What's Happening

Looking for a simple way to stay active? South Jordan Parks & Recreation introduced the SoJo Virtual Race Series to complement its popular SoJo Race Series. Each week, you choose a new route, complete it on your own schedule, and then submit your time. As a result, neighbors stay healthy—and connected—even while staying apart.

How it works

  1. Pick the week’s route. Organizers post a new course every week.
  2. Run, walk, or bike it. Go solo or with your household—any time that week.
  3. Share your results. Afterward, upload a screenshot of your time/route to enter for weekly prizes.
  4. Collect the swag. With a nominal registration fee, you receive the series t‑shirt or medal.

“As we all do our part to keep those around us healthy by staying apart, we need to find ways to stay connected. This virtual race series maintains our race‑community connection and supports mental and physical health.”

Weekly routes (including Daybreak)

New courses appear across South Jordan. Notably, several highlight the Daybreak trail network, so you can loop Oquirrh Lake, connect pocket parks, and finish at SoDa Row for a post‑race treat.

Pro tip: Daybreak features 30+ miles of trails, so you’ll rarely repeat the same view.
