What's Happening

Game on, Daybreak. The Break Sports Grill is opening at the SoDa Row Village Center, bringing wall‑to‑wall TVs, live music, and a chef‑driven bar menu to the neighborhood. Here’s the owner’s story, what’s on tap, and when doors open.

Who’s behind it

Meet the Owner: Bam Peck

Bam Peck knows sports grills. He started as a bartender at The Point After in 1996, bought the popular Murray establishment in 2004, and later sold it in 2009. After a short break, he’s back—this time as a Daybreak resident launching The Break Sports Grill with partner Brian Block.

Because Bam has lived in Daybreak for years, opening on SoDa Row felt natural. “We’re very involved in community and charity work, and we didn’t want to just open a business, but be a part of the community,” he says.

Chef Credentials & Live‑Music Plans

Head chef Johnny B—a self‑proclaimed “Sauce Master” and Cordon Bleu (Las Vegas) grad who has cooked for Sammy Hagar and other celebrities—puts a tangy twist on sports‑grill favorites along with original creations.

Meanwhile, the Break plans live music indoors during colder months when bands aren’t playing outside on the Plaza, with a steady dose of blues and rock favorites.
