Made in Daybreak: Nest Boutique

Daybreak is becoming a hub for entrepreneurs, small businesses and even global corporations. With more than 1.7 million square feet of commercial development completed there is an estimated 1,400+ employees working at various companies in our community—that includes the schools, and only the brick and mortar establishments to say nothing for the (likely) hundreds starting businesses in their basements or at their kitchen tables.  As commercial development continues to occur, especially along Mountain View Corridor, these figures will increase substantially. This female-powered business, owned by Daybreak resident Brittany Allen, has resided in Daybreak since May 2014. Nest Boutique offers a unique mix of home decor, fashion, accessories and gifts. With a wide variety of delightful merchandise to fit every budget and size, you are sure to find something that makes you feel good.

At Nest they seek to inspire, uplift and strengthen women. Recently they partnered with Oakley Peterson, a young mom of three who is spreading the beauty of having a child with Down Syndrome via her blog NothingDownAboutIt.com.  Being a busy mom who is always looking for stylish and comfortable clothes, Oakley, helped curate the “Mom on the Run”capsule collection at Nest.
