Summer Nights at Daybreak: Upcoming Events

Summer is in full swing at Daybreak, which means that our community is bustling with outdoor activities including a summer concert series, cruise nights, Food Truck Thursday, outdoor movies and more.
Most Friday and Saturday nights from May- to September, SoDa Row at Daybreak is transformed into a gathering place bringing together neighbors, family and friends for a night of music under the stars during the SoDa Rockin’ Row Summer Concert Series. Most shows start at 8 PM.

Every third Thursday from May to October, SoDa Row Cruise Nights turn Daybreak into a vintage car lover’s dream. Admire some beautifully restored vehicles from 5-9 PM and grab a sweet treat from Swirly Girl’s Bakery while you are out.

A new addition to the summer lineup of activities is Food Truck Thursday at the North Bay of Oquirrh Lake. It’s a pretty simple neighborhood activity that has grown to attract a cult following every week. It’s perfect for rolling out a blanket and having a “picnic” in the park with neighbors. And the best part, you do not have to do the dishes.

The food truck line-up changes every week, so you can be as adventurous as you want, with selections such as Cupbop, Kona Ice, Fiore Pizza and more. Trucks begin to line-up at 5 PM and serve until they run out of food or 9 PM. Bring your appetite and join us for Food Truck Thursday each week from April- to October.

Gaze at the stars and watch a classic movie on the big screen. Isn’t that nostalgic? We haven’t quite brought back the drive-in movie, but we do have a sweet outdoor movie line-up. The next outdoor movie is scheduled for August 19^th.
Thanks to Daybreak’s community council, LiveDAYBREAK, this Summer has been one to remember. But we aren’t done yet. Take a peek at the list of upcoming events happening in the next few weeks.
