Get Outdoors

We’re not exactly sure how many ways there are to enjoy the Utah outdoors. But we do know that Daybreak puts a lot of them within walking or biking distance to your home. It’s one of the perks of living in Daybreak, residents enjoy a variety of outdoor recreation options that are perfect for keeping in shape.

Daybreak Community Center

You often see them called “recreation centers.” Here in Daybreak, we prefer the term “community center.” Because we think of these places as social magnets that draw the community together.

Daybreak’s community center features a full gym, indoor track, cardio and weight equipment and a range of classes, from yoga to kickboxing and is for the use of all Daybreak residents. See the current group fitness schedule, here.  The Daybreak Community Center also offers Child Watch facility, so your little one can enjoy playing with educational toys or doing craft projects while you are working out. Want your friends to join you for a class? Guests passes are available.
The Garden Club offers a pool, fitness rooms and gathering spaces just for the residents of Garden Park, Daybreak’s easy-living village for people age 55+.

Try Something New

If treadmills aren’t your thing, we’ve got other options for you at SoDa Row. Daybreak’s retail district is home to a variety of locally owned businesses including Copper Mountain CrossFit and Black Diamond Sports Center.
Copper Mountain CrossFit is located on the South end of SoDa Row along Daybreak Rim Way. CrossFit workouts optimize fitness by incorporating a variety of functional movements at a high intensity. It is a mixture of high-intensity interval training, Olympic weightlifting, plyometrics, powerlifting, gymnastics and more. Stop in and complete the daily workouts, there are a variety of pricing options to choose from to meet your needs.

Black Diamond Sports Center is one of the nation’s top gymnastics and sports training facilities, with a location in Daybreak. Black Diamond Sports Center uses the latest equipment to teach everything from beginning tumbling for toddlers to advanced, pre-competitive gymnastics for teens and young adults. They offer a variety of activities for the entire family including gymnastics, power tumbling & trampoline, dance, cheer and martial arts.

Join a Club

Daybreak resident-organized groups and clubs offer a variety of opportunities to meet neighbors who share your interests, or learn something new. Why not give stand-up paddle boarding a try?
