Alba’s Journey Back to Utah

She returned to Utah in 2003, and her son Gus joined her in 2010. When Alba and Gus aren’t exploring Daybreak amenities, they keep busy attending Daybreak events hosted by LiveDAYBREAK. Some of their favorite Daybreak events include the Holi Festival, food truck roundups, and open mic nights at the local cafe. Looking ahead as Daybreak continues to expand its mixed-use commercial offering, they are excited about Downtown Daybreak, particularly the new Cinema Entertainment Center which will have an all luxury theater, bowling lanes, and arcade games.

They describe their neighborhood as friendly and caring, noting that while they may not attend every event, they always feel informed and involved. If asked to sum up their experience in Daybreak, Alba would say, “I love it,” and Gus adds, “Can’t top that!”
