Daybreak Residents Turn a Home Business into a Shop
The bakery is the vision of Debi Jensen and Amberleigh Farrell—two Daybreak residents and friends who transformed a popular home baking and catering business into their first storefront. “We are excited to open our first bakery in the Daybreak community because this is where we call home,” said Jensen.

Why SoDa Row Keeps Growing
SoDa Row brings everyday conveniences within a five‑minute walk for many residents, and it draws daytime activity from nearby employers. For instance, the Rio Tinto Regional Center houses more than 500 employees just steps away. In addition, University of Utah Health will open a major medical center two blocks away later this year—bringing 300+ medical professionals and hundreds of patients to the area daily.

People are eager to support local businesses and want unique places and products that have character. The businesses that are choosing to locate here are anxious to be part of Daybreak because of strong demographics and strong growth, and they see what is possible when quality development meets committed vision.” — Scott Schwendiman, Kennecott Commercial Development Manager
