Design Themes You’ll Notice
First, flexible layouts add rooms that adapt to work, play, and guests. Next, designers bring the outdoors in with covered porches, loggias, interior courtyards, and privacy screens. Consequently, families can use outdoor rooms for up to nine months of the year.
Energy Efficiency at Daybreak
Every new home in Daybreak carries ENERGY STAR® certification. In addition, the team works to improve the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) score with each plan. Most homes built before 2006 score above 100, while Daybreak’s new homes typically score 70–85 (some in the 60s), indicating they’re roughly 15–40% more efficient than older homes.
Learn about ENERGY STAR and the HERS Index.
Brookside Park (Planned Adjacent)
Next to the gallery, the planned Brookside Park will feature a meandering brook that recirculates water into Oquirrh Lake, 25 community gardens, a large grassy playfield, and tree‑lined walking paths.
