What's Happening

Shop, dine and play—close to home. Daybreak is growing once again with the opening of Trail Crossing Shopping Center, located within the Daybreak boundaries at the intersection of Mountain View Corridor and Daybreak Parkway.  This new development will include a variety of businesses and is anchored by Smith’s Marketplace, opening August 31, 2016.
The shopping center begins Daybreak’s commercial and residential focus on the areas along Mountain View Corridor.  And will complement the growth occurring in the Southwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley.
Smith’s Marketplace
The new 124,000 square foot multi-department store will offer a complete grocery store along with pharmacy, apparel, florist and household needs; Fred Meyer Jewelers; Murray’s Cheese, sit-down sushi and hot Asian food bar; fresh made to order baked pizzas, salads and sandwiches; and a Starbucks with indoor and outdoor seating.
Smith's Marketplace
In addition, the $26 million store will feature an on-site Smith’s Fuel Center and two-lane drive through pharmacy. Smith’s will also introduce ClickList at the store, which is an online grocery ordering service, offering customers 40,000 items from their desktop or mobile device for next-day curbside pick-up.
The South Jordan store will net 250 new jobs.
