It’s exciting when a business opens in Daybreak, especially when that business shares our enthusiasm for outdoor recreation. eSpokes, is a unique bike shop dedicated to providing the entire family with an outstanding bike experience. A few weeks ago, eSpokes hosted its grand opening celebration that included BYU’s Cosmo and the U of U’s Swoop, free bike tune-ups and best of all an introduced electric bikes to the community.
What is an electric bike? Well it is going to change the way you think of outdoor recreation. David Rasmussen, owner of eSpokes, says that electric bikes or ebikes are for everyone. “eBikes are bicycle that have a motor to help you when pedaling,” said Rasmussen. “Experience is showing that most people get more exercise on an electric bike then they do a regular bike. And its for one simple reason–they ride it.”
The best way to experience an ebike is to come and try one for yourself. Stop by eSpokes on SoDa Row the next time you are in Daybreak and test out an ebike, we promise the scenic view of Oquirrh Lake is amazing while cruising along on a bike.
eSpokes, also carries traditional bicycles and accessories as well as offers a full-service bicycle repair. They are located just south of Nest Boutique on the east side of SoDa Row.
