What's Happening

Community gardens help neighbors put down roots. As sustainable places to grow food, connect, and learn, they turn shared ground into shared experiences—all close to home in Daybreak, Utah.

Six Gardens, Hundreds of Plots

Across Daybreak, there are six community garden areas with several hundred plots available for residents to rent for $25 per season (2012 pricing). The gardens include water, shady spots, and benches—simple features that make tending a plot both productive and social.

Why They Matter

Community gardens build friendships, spark healthy outdoor time, and create a stronger sense of place. As neighbors trade tips, swap seeds, and celebrate harvests, the gardens become gathering spaces that enrich daily life.

Resident Spotlight

Roger & Gloria Marrow of Garden Park have always kept a garden. They love the chance to gather and chat with other gardeners.

“It’s a great way to visit with each other and it’s fun to see what everyone else is growing.”

See the Gardens for Yourself

New to the community? Stop by the Glass House Information Center and ask for a map. While you’re here, stroll through a few plots—you’ll find a colorful array of vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
