It’s not every day you see giant pumpkins floating on Oquirrh Lake. The Sixth Annual Mountain Valley Seed Ginormous Pumpkin Regatta arrives in Daybreak with pumpkins weighing between 500 and 1,500 pounds—hollowed into watercraft and raced across the lake’s north shore. Growers arrive in costume, carve their gourds on site, and paddle to glory while the crowd cheers.
