Daybreak builder, Sego Homes recently partnered with Homes for Hope to help thousands of families lift themselves out of poverty. Proceeds from a very special Sky Terrace townhome in Daybreak’s SoDa Row as well as donations from various vendors, trade partners and consultants will help benefit the non-profit organization.

According to the Homes for Hope website, “To build a Home for Hope, the builder of the home, along with their trades, suppliers, & subcontractors, join together to donate as much of the cost of the home as they can, maximizing the profit of the home. Once the home is sold, the net proceeds are donated to Homes for Hope to help fight poverty around the world.”

“It is gratifying to be able to make a real difference in the lives of deserving people,” said Wayne Corbridge, Sego Homes CEO/Owner. “About 90% of the recipients are single moms who are desperately struggling to provide for their children.  With a simple loan of one to two hundred dollars, they are empowered to buy a sewing machine to start a business or buy a propane stove to start a little restaurant, etc.  It  is gratifying to be able to empower people to lift themselves out of poverty.”

To date, Sego Homes has raised $98,200 for this organization and would love to reach their goal of $100,000. If you are interested in learning more about this organization and how you can donate, please contact Parry at 801.367.5797.
