If you’ve spent any time trolling the MLS or other websites searching for New Homes in Utah, you’ve probably seen several listings of houses for sale near TRAX. There are lots of benefits (both intangible and very tangible) to living in a neighborhood that’s close to a TRAX light rail station which we will discuss further in a future post, but Daybreak’s South Station neighborhood is perhaps one of the best examples of a transit oriented neighborhood featuring new homes in Utah. There are currently three home builders with three very different types of homes being offered in South Station, all of which are being built to the EPA’s new Energy Star version 3.0 which will allow homeowners to save hundreds of dollars per month on their utility bills through smart construction methods and newer technology not found in most older homes (even the ones built just a few years ago).
