In Daybreak, there's no such thing as the average park
Sometimes you want a place for a family picnic. Other times you want a place to shoot some hoops. And every once in while you just want a place that's green and quiet, where you can do a little thinking.

So we're creating about as many different kinds of outdoor spaces as there are reasons for going outdoors. Formal, manicured parks — such as Callender Square and Eastlake Promenade — where you can sit or stroll as you contemplate the meaning of the universe (you know, if you haven't already got that one figured out). Athletic fields and courts where you can work on your turnaround jump shot. And all sorts of smaller neighborhood parks, a number of them with specially designed play equipment that encourages kids to use their imaginations.
Then there are Daybreak's natural open spaces, with their beautiful, native plantings. Visit these around dusk and you may have a chance to say hello to some four-legged neighbors, deer and fox, who sometimes wander down to Oquirrh Lake.
And, of course, there are the miles of hiking/biking trails that connect everything together and offer a very pleasant replacement for the treadmill.
