Many roads lead to Daybreak.
Ease of transportation depends largely on having more than one way to get from A to B. Certainly, movement within Daybreak is greatly enhanced by its walkable community design. But Daybreak is also well connected to the rest of the Salt Lake Valley. And it’s getting more so all the time.
In February, 2010, Forbes.com named Salt Lake City the “Best City for Commuters.” Forbes gave much of the credit to Utah’s proactive approach to transportation projects. Two of the state’s most important projects — the Mid-Jordan light rail line and the Mountain View Corridor — connect directly to Daybreak. Light rail service to Daybreak has already begun, with trains running every 15 minutes. And construction on the Mountain View Corridor has started, with the initial portion that runs through Daybreak planned to open in 2013.
These large transportation initiatives, as well as several smaller projects that connect to Daybreak, are like laser pointers aimed at where the Valley’s most vigorous growth is expected to take place.
